CHAPTER.15. SUCCESSFUL LOSER.

RICHNESS HAS PROUDY BACKGROUND. BEWARE OF RICH AND BEAUTIFUL.

Wrong Signals.  Cross signals. What a mess !

She was rich and famous. He happened to lay  hand on the best .

He did not want  to.  BUT HE DID.   He looked

from  sides, angles, front and back.  He would spend his life

looking.

Was she  worth it ?  What did he find in looking?

He found no mistakes. She was a genuine beauty.

He sat in his chair always glancing, devouring  say, the eyes,

he was trying to understand the  riddles of the face. He is a versatile

not easy to  be impressed by any Tina Mina Reena.

As an author, his job is to look at them with an

objective view.

But in this case,  he could not visualise,

what captured him in the lovely face.

He could not afford to look away,  from with a sense

of visual finality of aesthetic value.

He knew, she was a

creature of flesh and blood.

But she has surfaces that can

be compared to gems of immortal value.

Take for example the hair that used to hang below the

shoulders in the kind of artless child-

like ripples that many a lot possess, but,  the hair is

something special. She hid them keeping tied in a sort of pony tail.

She has the rarest of a rare face, seeing which other faces fade.

This one stick in the mind like  glue.

It is never forgotten.  All times it is fresh before his eyes like an imprint.

When she tied the hair in a form of a ponny-tail she charmed

him all the more than usual.  Her skin always looked to him

faintly tanned because of the sun-heat.  But this gave  cheeks an

added beauty like appricot golden pink  blush that was

radically different from the usual lot.  That is HER.

None can be like HER. THAT'S ALL. NO FURTHER TALK OF HER.

It looked she is not from this planet.

She is a fairy,  missed the way and came to earth by

chance or by mistake, from Heaven.

BEAUTIFUL GIRLS:

In the case of beautiful girls,

they have a tragic life.  All avoid them. All are owed by the beauty.

No one goes near. She is always alone. She is too beautiful

for any other girl to want to get to know .

This is sheer out of envy.  They envy .  They can not bear the beauty.

If the other girls happened to exchange talks with ,

it is stiff, matter of fact and with an intent to run away

say- the talk is rather quite superficial because

they can not look . They melt in the shadow.

They are awed and found staring  rather than meeting their

eyes  and talk .  They can never talk

about boys because they presume that she has an upper

hand and she can pocket any hero at the flutter of  eye-lid.

It gets worse.  She did not ask mother Nature to make

so beautiful!  This is a kind of a curse. It is like

something she is not  from the lot of the girls that mix together,

play together study consult quarrel, argue,  read confide with each other.

She is seen as an object made apart different from them all.

The lots of boys and girls peek, sneek  as if she

were an object of the zoo. Her presence intimidates them.

Her beauty scares them.  The other girls are seen fluttered around,

all flustered,as if she were not made of flesh and blood.

It is a painful grow-up. She has to accept and go through

all these stages in a painful manner.  The most daring and

ambitious as she is, she  suffers.  To have a discussion

is a matter of continuous excitement.

Beauty elegance and  youth are not commodities.

She can not be bought sold or traded.  There is something

different.

Certainly it is not the clothing.  She looks lovely in any dress.

It is  confidence  that is revealed all through the

clothes. It is the way she carries herself. Straight and tall.  She has

an air of indifference; of pride.  She is different than others. She knows.

Before 16 years, he felt, if, at the relevant time,

had he known about his future !

On his last meetng he was looking  as if he

were trying to read the mind, and memorise.

She was all out to torment.

He wished only if  he had known the future!

When they met, he had felt content.

He had found his destination.

Every time he said something ,it was the wrong thing to say .

He used the wrong words.   she took

everything the wrong way.  Every time he did anything ,

it was the wrong thing to do.

If he dared to wait , it is wrong,  If he asked to stop for a talk,

she curtly replied 'who has the time!

If he tried to wait , she liked it but soon forgotten,

She avoided him in presence of her other admirers,

other friiends, if he  stood waitng to talk, She listerned.

She did not hear.  If she heard, she did

not understand.  He wished he had done the right things

from the beginning and followed the rules.  She had told

to follow the rules.   Would his fate been different?

He was fatally clumsy . He was madly in love .

He wanted to capture  attention.but he made all the

wrong moves. He sent all the signals but these signals were mis-

interpreted and they turned out as wrong signals.

He wanted to capture  attention.  He wanted to

make the right move.   He was guilty as

charged.  He had lost.

He was making a wong move.  He was saying

a wrong thing again. He was shy. What ever

messages he had sent she had mis-interpreted them.

For once she did not committed  to him,

She put all reponsibility on him to take the

lead and she would follow.  It was as simple as that.

What to do?  Can the gone time come

It will be a miracle! Hope is eternal.  Till they meet.

The Meaningful Beauty..

Of course, she never denied any of it aloud,

Of course she never agreed to any of it in private.

What could he make for his love for her?

He was warned of the dangers of any romantic attachment.

This was his weakness.

He was ignoring the Advice.

He had come for attending a limited issue and go back.

As fate would have it, it lasted 18 years.

Quite simply put, the very sight of her, the very sound of her

made him change his resolution.

The way she moved, her happiness, her sorrow, all this,

made him love her.

The world was pleasant when she was with him.

He felt the food was delicious.

He did not feel the mid-day heat.

He felt the mid-day cool and enjoyable.

He had heard her voice this very morning.

He had phoned her that he was coming.

He had caught happiness in her voice on hearing this.

Of course she made no comments about it.

He had faith some day she would truly love her.

She was an exception.

She was perhaps the only woman on this earth

who dressed to try to down-play her beauty.

Not that she tried to look ugly but she came to

regard her beauty as dangerous for her profession.

She dressed pure and simple in full white.

She tried to identify herself with those hundreds of

miserable girls whom mother nature did not bestow beauty.

The suppressed grace, the beauty tried to escape from bondage

and reveal to him what really she actually contained in her..

More she concealed, more it was revealed.
